POST DOCS
Our INCyTE RCN is hiring a post doc, to be based at the University of Montana with Cory Cleveland. If you're interested in how we can better bridge models and experiments to understand nutrient limitation across the globe, and you want to work with an amazing interdisciplinary international team, please check it out!
STUDENTS
If you're excited about nutrients– how they move through plants and soils, how they drive ecosystem processes and services, how they'll shape ecosystem responses to global change- please get in touch! I'd love to chat more about your interests and whether the lab would be a good fit for you– my publication page would be a good place to start to get an idea. Our research in ecosystem science naturally bridges several fields (plant physiology, biogeochemistry, and microbial ecology to name a few), and will incorporate lab, greenhouse and field-based research in natural environments, especially in the tropics.
I will be accepting both MS and PhD students through the McGill Department of Biology starting Fall 2020. See their website for program specific requirements and deadlines. More information on funding is available here and here. If you're a postdoc able to apply for external funding, I'd also love to talk to you about supporting your application. Note that internal review application deadlines for certain fellowships can be more than a year in advance!
I'm genuinely passionate about good mentorship in science, and I'll be posting more about my advising philosophy here soon.
